Did you know about the My Penguin app? It’s Club Penguin’s app that will be available on iOS devices and mobiles. Spike Hike published an article on the Club Penguin Community Blog today with news and information on the app. He also posted two tweets with even more information.
Spike Hike on Club Penguin’s Mobile app (My Penguin)
First, he tweeted about the blog post that he just published. Not only that but he included the release date of the app releasing to iPads which is May the 9th (I wish it was on my Birthday which is around that time. Aw.)
Second he tweeted that the app will be free to download.
And now for the actual blog post that he published on the Club Penguin Community Blog. It contains even more news and information and a screenshot of the app in action. Check it out:
I’ve had a secret that I’ve wanted to share this everyone for almost a year… Today I can finally share it with you!
Some of you may have seen me show up occasionally in the Friends list from a place called “My Penguin.” A few of you guessed that it may be a secret Club Penguin app on mobile… You were right!!!
I’m excited to tell you that our new iPad app is coming soon!
The first version of “My Penguin” will let you play some of your favorite mini-games, shop from the catalog, and change your Penguin’s outfit . The app is totally connected to Club Penguin, so your Penguin, clothing and coins will be shared whether on mobile or the web.
That’s just the beginning, too… We’ll be updating the app regularly and bringing more of the Club Penguin world to the app throughout the year!! Stay tuned to the blog for more news and updates on “My Penguin”!
Until then… Waddle On!
-Club Penguin Team
I have to say that this app looks awesome. I do hope that they add features like actually being able to walk and talk on the game. I think that they will probably produce something along those lines. Have a look at this quote: “That’s just the beginning, too… We’ll be updating the app regularly and bringing more of the Club Penguin world to the app throughout the year!!” What time is it? No, not time to get a watch, time to get an iPad! What do you think of this app? What features do you think that they should add to it? Share your thoughts in a comment.
