Aunt Arctic has published a new issue of the Club Penguin Times. The main headline is about the school building project from the School And Skate Party being a huge success. Without further ado, here is a screenshot of the article.
”Great work everyone! Thanks to all of you, we had a straight-A school by the end of the party. We proved we care about having a place to learn. And, we’ve kicked off our school building projects in Ecuador, Haiti, and India! These new schools are going to be safe places where students can learn. Maybe they’ll pick up the things that Rookie missed, like what goes in a classroom! Actually, I want to thank Rookie. Without his efforts, we wouldn’t have come together as a student body to fix up CPU. And doing that really made me appreciate the school we have. I guess he doesn’t deserve detention after all. See you in class, everyone!”
The second article is about the upcoming Halloween Party. Unlike previous Halloween parties, where they had identified the plot of the party before it began, like when we had to collect the candy ghosts in 2011 and when we had to explore the haunted mansion in 2012, they have not identified what is going to happen for this year’s party, although there are rumors that it involves the Puffle Hotel and Gariwald, Gary’s great uncle. Anyway, here is the article.
”October is here, and that means the countdown to Halloween is on. Costume connoisseurs are already planning their outfits and haunted houses are being spookified. The whole island takes part in Halloween. Literally, Every October seems to bring paranormal excitement. The sky often goes dark for weeks and not all the monsters you meet will be the costumed kind! In 2011, ghost catchers were sent to find the candy ghosts haunting the island. And in 2012, a haunted mansion appeared in the middle of the Forest. Investigators explored it and found Gariwald the Contraption Chap, Gary’s long-lost great-uncle. Last year, Rookie ordered candy that transformed penguins into werewolves, vampires, and zombies. Have a great time this year, but remember, nothing is ever as it seems…”
The upcoming events include Club Penguin’s 9th anniversary party and the Halloween Party, both parties fall on October 23.
I do hope that this year’s Halloween Party would be more like the ones in 2011 and 2012, and definitely not like last year’s. Last year’s Halloween Party was one of the most disappointing parties I had ever experienced, there weren’t many free items, there were no special party rooms, and when you were done with the quest, there was nothing much to do. Do you think this year’s party will be better than last year? Which Halloween Party from 2005 to 2013 was your favorite? Leave a comment below!
