In my opinion, they won't last. I know people come and go everyday, however the age for people to start playing games such as Call Of Duty, MineCraft and other games is slowly decreasing, so soon enough there won't be much of an audience for Virtual Worlds. I stopped playing Club Penguin in late 2008, as everything began to repeat, and since then I've been still a "Club Penguin Player", but never logged on. I have two blogs (both owned with someone else) which are Club Penguin-HD + ClubPenguinDigital. I try to post on them as much as I can, and tweet as much as I can on Twitter, @Caldog9CP. (1.5k followers) I do think they won't shut because of loss of money, because many, like I, continue buying membership for a game they don't play. That's since late 2008, so 3 years of membership which is around £130.

- Anyway, consoles are definately overtaking the virtual world supporters. The only way they can keep players coming online every so often is changing everything completely. Perhaps with Quests, not Field-Ops, new ways to earn coins apart from games and more customization over your penguin, like beak, shape, size etc. Also a nickname that shows up below your penguin, and your username should be only shown on your playercard. I think Club Penguin has about another year or two but then its gone, because they need new parties the current ones are rubbish!

Director's idinity being revealed is a very less chance i think.... but..... maybe cause in the EPF video game you do rank up so maybe you become the new director or maybe he HAS to reveal to save Club Penguin!

I hope they release the directors identity! But also, It is kind of fun to try and figure out who it is. I think they should put secret hints around the island, that are really hard to find. They could be in the secret psa code or maybye written backwards or something. They should secretly give us hints instead of just telling us. I hope cp never ends, because it is the only virtual world that I really like. All the other ones are ok, but I have quit evrey other virtual world I have joined exept for club penguin. And even if club penguin does end, If it ever does, I will make a website with memories about club penguin so people remember it! I think in the future club penguin will get better and worse. I think the clothing catalogs will not be as good, because now it is all old stuff that is just recolored. I want more new stuff! And also they should bring back more items from old cp. Like the teddy bear furniture item. I love those! I wish I had some. But also I think that club penguin will change alot in the future. I think there will be something big!
