Club Penguin Recipes: Rainbow Pancakes

Now that the Puffle Party is just a week away, and Rainbow Puffles have been spotted at the Forest, Dock and Ski Village, Club Penguin has showed us how to make “Rainbow Pancakes!” Sounds interesting! Want to hear the recipe? Well I won’t let you wait any longer, so here is the recipe to Rainbow Pancakes

You Will Need
  • 2 mixing bowls or containers
  • 6 medium bowls
  • Spatula
  • Measuring cups
  • Small frying pan
  • 6 inch bamboo skewers
  • Natural food coloring: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple food color.
  • Red fruit: raspberries or strawberries
  • Orange fruit: oranges
  • Yellow fruit: pineapple or bananas
  • Green fruit: kiwis or green grapes
  • Blue fruit: blueberries
  • Purple fruit: purple grapes or blackberries
Ingredients
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose wholemeal flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp canola/rapeseed oil
  • 2 eggs
Gluten Free Ingredients
  • 1 ½ cups rice flour
  • ¼ cup quinoa flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp xantham gum
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 ¼ cup milk (why not try almond or soy milk)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp canola/rapeseed oil
  • ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
  1. In one bowl, mix together all your wet ingredients.
  2. In the other bowl, sift together all the dry ingredients.
  3. Make a well in the center of the dry mix and pour in your wet mix.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Separate the pancake mixture evenly into 6 small bowls (around ½ cup each).
  6. Dye each bowl one of the colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple).
  7. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat.
  8. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately ¼ cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides, and set aside.
  9. Choose one fruit for each color of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple).
  10. Cut the fruit into one inch cubes.
  11. String one fruit from each color onto the skewer in rainbow order.
  12. Stack cooked pancakes in rainbow order and insert 6 fruit skewers into the pancakes creating a rainbow shape.

Results should ending up looking like this:

Looks oddly delicious to me! Seems like a lot of ingredients but in the end will be a delicious, mouth-watering, delightful pancake. Are you going to try this masterpiece? Let us know in a comment below.
