Here are the Instructions for Catchin’ Waves. If you already know the Basics on Catchin’ Waves, Scroll Down for Cheats (Click to Enlarge):

1. If you are a beginner I suggest to try Survival Mode. Survival Mode earns a lot of coins and can get you them really quickly. If it is your first time playing I recommend trying Tutorial. Tutorial will teach you the Basics and help you learn the Controls to the game.

2. If you surf with any of the Surfboards you will surf faster, which means that you will have better protection against Waves. It also means you will earn a lot more coins.

3. Try to stay ahead of the Wave. Only do tricks when you are ahead of the Wave and feel comfortable with doing a trick. Tricks are a good way to earn coins but make sure that you don’t over use them. Try not to do the same trick twice in a row because, that will lower the amount of coins you get for the trick.

4. Avoid the floating Ice Bergs. They will knock you off of your surfboard and cause you to lose a life.

5. Survival Mode earns some coins very quickly but once you get farther into the game the Wave speeds up and it is almost impossible to outrun. Once you have gotten good at Catchin’ Waves try Competition Mode. It usually earns more coins than Survival Mode. Try to get a High Score from the Judges to get a ton of coins.
